We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join our team at Dixie Overland Construction. DOC Construction is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wastewater and Water Construction Estimator to join our team in Sibley, Louisiana. In this role, the estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for municipal water and wastewater projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs. The estimator will collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to understand the scope of work, plans, specifications, and other project documents to develop comprehensive cost estimates. This includes preparing and submitting competitive bids for water and wastewater projects, ensuring that all costs are considered and the proposals meet client specifications.
The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of municipal water and wastewater projects. This role includes managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate with estimators, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and resolve any issues that may arise during construction. They will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, addressing risks, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Candidates should have proven experience in project management, specifically in water and wastewater construction, with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software and a background in municipal construction are preferred.
The Foreman will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. They will supervise field crews, manage equipment, and coordinate with project managers to ensure project specifications and quality standards are met.
Candidates should have hands-on experience in water and wastewater construction, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety. A background in supervising crews and knowledge of construction processes is required.
The Project Engineer will support the planning and execution of municipal water and wastewater projects by assisting with project documentation, coordination, and technical support. They will help manage schedules, prepare submittals, handle RFIs, and track project progress. The Project Engineer will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project goals are met efficiently and safely.
